It all begins with an idea/ inspiration .

For example, Taylor Swift’s All Too Well short film

Then, I choose a color palette for the piece.

In this case, different tones of red made sense since the song that inspired the film was released with Taylor’s Version of the album Red.

Most pieces at least one main element that becomes the focus of the work.
This piece presents multiple detailed red flowers.

A crucial part of the process is deciding a layout. The right layout can bring movement and emphasis to the piece.

In this step, I focus on the smaller details. This varies between background work and/ or shadows and highlights.

For this example, I included smaller flowers, dots, leaves, and the phrase “I remember it all too well” as an homage to the song.

Once all details are done, the piece is ready!
